CHAPTER 10: The Master Mind


378. Power is essential for success in the accumulation of money.
379. Plans are inert & useless, without sufficient power to translate them into action.
380. Organized effort is produced through the coordination of effort
of two or more people, who work toward a definite end, in a SPIRIT OF HARMONEY.
381. POWER is "organized knowledge."
382. Here are the sources of knowledge:
A. Infinite Intelligence. This source of knowledge may be
contacted through Creative Imagination.
B. Accumulated Expierence
C. Experiment & Research. Creative Imagination must often be used

383. The "Master Mind" may be defined as: "Coordination of knowledge
& effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people,
for the attainment of a definite purpose."
384. Use discrimination in the selection of your "Master Mind" group
385. Economic advantages may be created by any person who surrounds himself
with the advice, counsel, & personal cooperation of a group of men who are willing
to lend him wholehearted aid, in a spirit of harmony.
386. Cooperative alliance has been the basis of nearly every great fortune.
387. Fact: There are only two known elements in the whole universe, energy, & matter.
388. Matter may be broken down into units of molecules, atoms, & electrons.
389. The human mind is a form of energy, a part of it being spiritual in nature.
390. Mr. Andrew Carnegie's Master Mind group consisted of 50 men,
for the definite purpose of manufacturing & marketing steel.
391. Energy constructs every material thing in the universe.
392. Nature translates energy into matter.
393. Nature's building blocks are available to man, in the energy involved in thinking!
394. A group of brains coordinated (or connected) in a spirit of harmony
will provide more thought-energy than a single brain.
395. The Master Mind holds "the secret" of the power wielded by men
who surround themselves with other men of brains.
396. When a group of individual brains are coordinated & function in harmony,
the increased energy created through that alliance becomes available
to every individual brain in the group.
397. Henry Ford began his business career under POVERTY, illiteracy, & ignorance.
398. Within TEN YEARS, Mr. Ford mastered these three handicaps,
& within TWENTY-FIVE YEARS he made himself one of the richest men in America.

399. Henry Ford was a personal friend of Thomas A. Edison
400. Power may be produced through friendly alliance of minds.
401. Henry Ford whipped POVERTY, illiteracy, & ignorance by allying himself
with great minds, whose VIBRATIONS OF THOUGHT HE ABSORBED
into his own mind. (THE LAW OF VIBRATION)
402. Gandhi is the most powerful man now living.
(Estimated by the number of his followers & their faith in their leader)
403. He came by power through inducing over 200 MILLION PEOPLE
to coordinate, with mind & body, in a spirit of harmony, for a definite purpose.
404. Money is as shy & elusive. It must be wooed & won by methods not unlike
those used by a determined lover, in pursuit of the girl of his choice.
405. The pursuit of money must be mixed with FAITH.
It must be mixed with DESIRE. It must be mixed with PERSISTENCE.
It must be applied through a PLAN, & that plan must be set into ACTION.
406. When money comes in quantities known as "the big money",
it flows as easily as water flows downhill. It may be compared to a river;
except that one side flows in one direction, carrying all who get into that side
of the stream, onward & upward to wealth - & the other side flows in the opposite direction, carrying all those people to misery & poverty.
407. It consists of one's thinking process.
408. POSITIVE EMOTIONS CARRIES ONE TO FORTUNE.
409. NEGATIVE EMOTIONS CARRIES ONE DOWN TO POVERTY.
410. Merely reading & passing judgment on it, either one way or another,
will in no way benefit you.
411. Some people undergo alternating between the positive & negative sides.
412. The Wall Street crash of 1929 swept millions of people to the negative side
of the stream. Millions are struggling, some of them in DESPERATION & FEAR.
(Desperation / Fear: Bottom of the Emotional Scale)
This book was written especially for those people.
413. Poverty & riches often change places.
414. Poverty generally does take the place of riches.
415. The change is usually brought about through
well-conceived carefully executed PLANS.
416. POVERTY NEEDS NO PLAN.
417. RICHES have to be "ATTRACTED." (Law of Attraction & Law of Vibration)
418. Anybody can wish for riches, & most people do,
but only a few know that a definite plan, plus a burning desire for wealth,
are the only dependable means of accumulating wealth.
