CHAPTER 3: FAITH


96. When FAITH is blended with the VIBRATION OF THOUGHT,
the subconscious mind instantly picks up the vibration.
97. The EMOTIONS of FAITH, LOVE, & SEX are the MOST POWERFUL
of all the major positive emotions.
98. FAITH IS A STATE OF MIND which may be induced, or CREATED,
BY AFFIRMATION or REPEATED INSTRUCTIONS to the subconscious mind,
through the principle of AUTO-SUGGESTION.
99. ANY IMPULSE OF THOUGHT which is repeatedly passed on to the
subconscious mind is, finally, accepted & acted upon by the subconscious mind.
100. The "FEELING" portion of THOUGHTS, are the factors which
GIVE THOUGHTS VITALITY, LIFE, & ACTION.
101. The subconscious mind will translate into its physical equivalent
a thought impulse of a negative or destructive nature.
102. Our thoughts create "misfortune," or "bad luck."
103. Millions of people BELIEVE THEMSELVES
"DOOMED" TO POVERTY & FAILURE.
104. They BELIEVE they have no control.
105. THEY ARE THE CREATORS OF THEIR OWN "MISFORTUNES."
106. Be in a state of EXPECTANCY or BELIEF that the transmutation
will actually take place.
107. CONDUCT YOURSELF just as you would if you were already in possession
of the material thing which you are DEMANDING.
108. PERFECTION WILL COME THROUGH "PRACTICE"!!!
109. One may develop FAITH by voluntarily suggesting
to the subconscious mind that one has faith.
110. DISCOURAGE & ELIMINATE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS & EMOTIONS.
111. A mind DOMINATED BY POSITIVE EMOTIONS becomes a favorable
adobe for the state of mind known as FAITH.
112. Religious leaders have failed to tell people how to have faith.
113. FAITH is the basis of all "MIRACLES."
114. One comes, finally, to believe whatever one repeats to one's self,
whether the statement be true or false.
115. Every man is what he is because of the DOMINATING THOUGHTS
which HE PERMITS to occupy his mind.
116. The human mind is constantly attracting vibrations.
117. Any idea, plan, or purpose may be placed in the mind
through repetition of thought.

118. Your greatest weakness is LACK OF SELF-CONFIDENCE.

119. SELF-CONFIDENCE FORMULA

First. I know that I have the ability to achieve the object
of my Definite Purpose in life, therefore, I demand of myself PERSISTENT, CONTINUOUS ACTION toward its attainment, & I here & now PROMISE
to render such ACTION.

Second. I realize the DOMINATING THOUGHTS of my mind will EVENTUALLY
reproduce themselves in OUTWARD, PHYSICAL ACTION, & GRADUALLY
transform themselves into PHYSICAL REALITY, therefore,
I will CONCENTRATE MY THOUGHTS FOR 30 MINUTES DAILY
upon the task of THINKING OF THE PERSON I INTEND TO BECOME,
thereby CREATING IN MY MIND A CLEAR MENTAL PICTURE OF THAT PERSON.

Third. I KNOW through the principle of auto-suggestion ANY DESIRE that I
PERSISTENTLY HOLD IN MY MIND will EVENTUALLY seek expression
through some practical means of attaining the object back of it,
Therefore, I will DEVOTE 10 MINUTES DAILY to demanding
of myself the DEVELOPMENT OF SELF-CONFIDENCE.

Fourth. I fully REALIZE that NO WEALTH or position can long endure
unless built upon TRUTH & JUSTICE, therefore, I will ENGAGE IN NO TRANSACTION
which DOES NOT BENEFIT ALL whom it effects. I WILL SUCCEED by attracting
to myself THE FORCES I WISH TO USE, & the COOPERATION OF OTHER PEOPLE.
I will INDUCE OTHERS TO SERVE ME, because of my WILLINGNESS TO SERVE OTHERS. I will ELIMINATE HATRED, envy, JEALOUSY, selfishness, & cynicism,
by DEVELOPING LOVE FOR ALL HUMANITY, Because I know that A NEGATIVE ATTITUDE TOWARDS OTHERS CAN NEVER BRING ME SUCCESS. I will cause others
to believe in me, because I will believe in them. I will SIGN MY NAME to this formula, COMMIT it to memory, & REPEAT IT ALOUD ONCE A DAY, with FULL FAITH
that it will GRADUALLY INFLUENCE MY THOUGHTS & ACTIONS so that I will
become a SELF-RELIANT & SUCCESSFUL PERSON.

120. POVERTY, misery, & distress exists because of the negative application
of the principle of auto-suggestion.
121. A MAN MAY COMMIT SUICIDE THROUGH NEGATIVE THINKING.
It becomes a "mental suicide."

122. Auto-Suggestion may lead you to peace & prosperity,
or down into the valley of misery, failure, & death.
123. The law of auto-suggestion will lift you up or pull you down.
124. Success begins with a fellow's will - it's all in the state of mind.
125. You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before you can ever win a prize.
126. The man who wins is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!
127. Abraham Lincoln, was a failure at everything he tried,
until he was well PAST THE AGE OF 40.
128. The emotion of LOVE is closely akin to the state of mind known as FAITH.
129. The influence of a woman's love, in the human heart & brain, creates a favorable field of magnetic attraction, which causes an influx of the higher vibrations.
130. "MIRACLES" are produced only though the state of mind known as FAITH.
131. The whole world has had ample opportunity to witness
what the lack of faith will do to business.
132. First, The United States Steel Corporation was born in the mind of Charles M. Schwab. Second, he MIXED his FAITH with his idea. Third, he formulated a PLAN.
Fourth, he put his plan into ACTION. He followed through on his plan with PERSISTENCE. Sixth, he created a BURNING DESIRE FOR SUCCESS.
133. The giant organization was CREATED IN THE MIND of ONE MAN.
134. FINANCIAL STABILITY was CREATED IN THE MIND of the same man.
135. RICHES BEGIN IN THE FORM OF THOUGHT!
136. There are no limitations to the mind except those we acknowledge.
137. Both poverty & riches are the offspring of thought.
